AR Workshop Chunky Knit Yarn

The trend continues with AR Workshop, a jumbo chenille yarn that can be crocheted or knit without any tools except your arms! The Hygge-esque yarn is perfect for trendy arm-knit area rugs (4+ balls) or giant arm-knit lapghans to snuggle under (4 balls for a 40" x 33" lapghan blanket).

Yarn: The yarn is super soft and very pretty BUT the yarn frays and unravels when you cut the ends! I was not expecting that and was literally in tears trying to figure out how to stop it. If I had known it might happen, I would have left a longer tail.
Needles: Mine broke after using them for just a couple of hours BUT Lion Brand was more than helpful in resolving this issue to my satisfaction.
Delivery: I ordered too close the holidays apparently as delivery was delayed by quite a bit.
Pattern: The pattern is easy BUT when finished, the first third doesn’t match the final third, which personally, I think it should. My finished project was also substantially smaller than the pattern dimensions but to be fair, I didn’t do a test gauge and I had an entire skein left over.
I love working with Lion. Rand yarn. It’s very high quality and you definitely get a beautiful product out of it.
This brand is my fave ever! Lots of beautiful creations I have made.
Great yarn - terrible customer service. They weren’t updating my tracking information correctly (only reason I’d care is it’s holiday season- I live in an apartment building and I like to know when my packages are delivered accurately or to the best of their abilities) for both my orders and when I reached out to them twice and heard nothing. Super disappointing but I’ll buy somewhere else.
Used this to make a chunky blanket. The yarn is so soft and fluffy.
Really enjoyed working with this yarn. It feels so nice and is super soft. Made a chunky knit throw with it and was really quick so I loved the instant gratification!!
