Every time I get pound of love I loose at least 1/4 of the skein from knots. After spending over an hour on 3 I bought this time I ended up just throwing away the knotted mess in the middle- waste of time and frustration.
I contacted customer service, was told I could return the skeins and after 10-15 days would have a resolution. That is too long when im trying to finish projects. I always think next time it won’t be so bad - always wrong.
Love this yarn but the skein I got had the worst yarn barf and entanglement I have had to deal with yet when trying to pull from the center.
Great for large projects. Makes a beautiful cable/lattice blanket.
This yarn is outstandingly soft for such a value price. I'm working on a cabled baby blanket. The yarn strands are woven well and are pleasing to work with. I'll definitely purchase this again for future projects.
Pound of Love is one of my favorite yarns to work with. I like knowing that I have enough yarn in a skein so I don’t worry about running out of the color I am working with at the time. I always use several colors on a project so not having enough yarn is never an issue. I do, however, wish it pulled from the center. It would make it easier to handle while working.
I had bought several colors to crochet a few bouquet shawls and mostly the yarn is lovely! It has great stitch definition and it’s a light worsted that does not split. The flowers work up beautifully too.
This yarn loses a star because there really needs to be a center pull tab. It is difficult finding the center and one skein especially had four pulls of yarn barf that wasted so much time.
Overall I love this yarn and its softness which makes it versatile for any project including baby items. Plus a great selection of colors. When it’s on sale indulge yourself!
