Beautiful yarn; soft, warm, lovely colors. It is big, chunky yarn so expect your project to be the same. Since it contains natural fibers, the ends can be felted in. I’ve made 2 sweaters and a hat so far. Working on a third sweater and more hats. Would recommend this yarn.
Got this to make a hat for a friend of mine, and I was happily surprised by how quickly it build up. Only took a couple of sittings to finish the whole thing, which for a slow crocheter like me is really saying something!
Since my grandson was 18 months old and doing his animal wooden jigsaw puzzle, every time he put in the bear, we’d wrestle around and I’d say in a gravely voice, “The BIG Growwwly BEARRRRR!!!” He just loves that so much! So, when I saw the bear pillow pattern, I just HAD to make it! He’s 2 and a bit, now, and has a brand new baby brother. I made the pillow a little bigger than the actual pattern and adapted the parts accordingly. I am going to attempt to adapt the pattern to make a highland cow for his baby brother. Wish me luck! :-)
I wasn't sure what to expect with this yarn, but really enjoyed using it to make the Colorado Throw pictured. It is much softer yarn then I expected. It is bigger, so worked up quickly but still has nice stitch definition and is easy to work with. I was concerned with the threads separating, but that was never an issue
I haven't used a wool blend yarn before and was pleasantly surprised with how nice this yarn is to crochet with.
I bought a couple skeins of Hue + Me to make bulky hats for selling in a local shop. I was impressed by the color selection and how easy the yarn is to work with. The hats turned out great! Will definitely buy this yarn again.
