    • Country yarn

I had recently come across a lone skein I had in my stash. I have been recently reorganizing my stash, and was making hats for a homeless shelter to give to when the cold weather has arrived in this upcoming fall. After making a plain beanie, I had enough left on the skein to make a cowl to go with the ha. I decided to keep this set for myself as it turned out so nice. This yarn was very nice to work with, even if it became a little 'splitty' at times. It is nice and thick, and crochets up fast when using a large hook. I used a 'P' hook to make my hat, and it worked up beautifully as I used half double crochet stitches. I will use this yarn again, I highly recommend it!
