Unclear instructions

I was able to follow the pattern but the instructions are not complete for the row. They basically go half way across the row and you have figure out the reverse and the next 3 sides. I feel that even an intermediate pattern should give one full side at the minimum. I've bought this kit twice now and still not sure if I want to complete it after doing a test square.

Hello Lois - we're sorry that you're having trouble with this pattern! Please email our pattern support team at [email protected] with the row number you're having trouble with and we'll be happy to help.

different, rich design

Autumn Stars demonstrates how crochet design can move beyond the usual ripples and other time honored afghan and throw techniques. The combination of color and the raised join makes Autumn Stars prize worthy.

Lovely weight for the blocks

There is a wonderful weight to the blocks due to the style of overlapping rounds. This will be a luxurious lapghan. I think I might make it 4x5 into a full afghan, it's so nice. There is one slight mistake in rnd 6 where it says dc
next 4 sts 2 rnds below*, sc in next sc, - that should be sc in next st or dc. It's just enough to cause confusion since you are not stitching into a sc, but not enough to not figure out.

Hi Kelly - thank you for the feedback! We'll forward this to the designer and let them know.

Love it.

I ordered two kits and made it bigger. I also ran out of pound of love using the right gauge and let Lion Brand Know. The sent me a full skein of Pound of Love. Nice customer service

Buy 2 Pounds of Love

The kit as a whole is 3.5 stars ONLY because I ran out of yarn. The design itself is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Unfortunately, the first one I made I ran out of the pound of love after 10 squares. The second blanket I made, I was able to complete all of the squares but I did not have enough to complete the border. My gauge was right on with the 6 rounds = 3.5 inches. This is a beautiful throw design- just buy an extra skein of whatever color Pound of Love you decide to use.

beautiful pattern

What a pleasure to make this beautiful pattern. Although somewhat complex, if you take your time and carefully read each step it's fine. One note in Round 14 the opening bracket [ should be after the first three sc, not before.
