Lion Brand® Incredible
GAUGE: 12 sts + 19 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) on larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | M1 (make 1 st) An increase worked by lifting the horizontal thread lying between the needles and placing it onto the left needle. Work this new stitch through the back loop. |

| Knit Shrug Reviewed by Harlene Sperling on 2008-09-02 |

| My finished shrug is wonderful!!! However, it appears to resemble a jacket more than a shrug, and I really like it. I knitted the sweater in black incredible and used a large scatter pin as the closure rather than a button.
