Angel Hugs

| A woman asked for a shawl for her seven-year-old grandson, who had a sudden and mysterious illness come up. I wasn't so sure that a little boy would wear or appreciate a "shawl", so when I gave it to him, I told him it was a "wrap" to keep him warm when he watched TV or played video games, and that whenever he wrapped up in it, he could feel the hugs of all the people who love him. Grandma told me later that he now sleeps with it every night and calls it his "angel hug". I loved that name and now refer to all our prayer shawls as angel hugs! |
