Moss Stitch Afghan
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE: 8 sts + 12 rows = 4" (10 cm) in pattern st.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: STITCH PATTERN (worked on an odd number of sts) Rows 1, 3, 4 and 6 *P 1, k 1; repeat from * to last st, p 1. Rows 2 and 5 *K 1, p 1; repeat from * to last st, k 1. Repeat Rows 1-6 for pattern.

| My First Big Project!--Nice, Easy, & Quick Reviewed by Jen Price on 2009-10-18 |

This was my first project after scarves and dishcloths and I'm very happy with it. I did the full afghan in Claret and am finding it the perfect size and weight to keep me warm in the living room!
There were a few imperfections in the yarn, but they aren't very obvious in the finished piece.
I will probably make more after I try a few other patterns.
