GAUGE:
10 stitches + 20 rows (10 ridges) = 4 inches [10 cm], approximately,
in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Poncho is made in 2 strips that are sewn together lengthwise.

Fun and easy! I am a yarn junkie, so I loved mixing and matching colors and textures. I used Chocolate Brown Wool-Ease as the base, and added shades of browns and greens.
