GAUGE:
18 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in rev st st on size 8 needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

TOP Body: Front: With smaller needles, cast on 90 (99) sts. Work in garter st (k every row) for 2", end WS. Change to larger needles and work in rev st st as foll: Slits: RS Row: K 2, p 86 (95), k 2. WS Row: K across. Rep these 2 rows for 1" more. Cont in rev st st only on all sts until Front measures 7" from beg. Shape Sleeves: Cast on 2 sts at beg of next 6 rows - 102 (111) sts. Then cast on 34 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 170 (179) sts. Piece should measure 37¾ (39¾)" wide. Work even until Front measures 16½" from beg. Shape neck: Next Row: Work 69 (72) sts. Working both sides at the same time with separate balls of yarn, at each neck edge bind off 3 sts once, then 2 sts three times - 60 (63) sts. Next Row: Work 60 (63) sts, cast on 50 (53) sts for back of neck, work rem 60 (63) sts - 170 (179) sts. Back: Working in one piece again with one ball of yarn, work even on 170 (179) sts until Sleeve measures 20" from first Sleeve cast-on. Bind off 34 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 102 (111) sts. It's hard to tell what this garment looks like. It should have been made in a lighter color and the photo doesn't show what it looks like from the front. Your instructions should have a schematic to make them easier to follow. The garment looks "baggy".
