Cable Pullover Sweater

Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®

25.5 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) with larger needles in cable pattern. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

T2 (Twist 2) K the 2nd st on the left needle through the back loop, DO NOT REMOVE THE ST FROM THE NEEDLE, k the first st on the left needle, slip both sts off tog.

Cable Pullover Sweater Reviewed by Charlotte Miller on 2013-09-07 ****
This sweater was not too difficult and is very nice. However, it seems the 8 balls of yarn called for in the pattern are enough to finish only one sleeve. I needed 10 balls total; my gauge is correct so that is not the issue. In fact, I made the body of the sweater just a tad shorter than the 27" length called for because I didn't want the tunic length.
