SHAWLWith smaller needles, cast on 3 stitches.
Row 1 Knit.
Row 2 Knit in front and back of first stitch, knit until one stitch remains, knit in front and back of the last stitch.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 75 inches [190.5 cm] (stretched) across – 115 stitches.
Next Row Knit.
With larger needle, bind off all stitches VERY loosely.
Cut approximately 120 strands of yarn, 20 inches [51 cm] long. Using one strand per fringe, fold in half to form a loop. Insert a loop in each increased stitch along angled edges of Shawl, bring ends through loop and tighten. Trim fringe evenly.
