GAUGE: 24 sts + 32 rows = 4" [10 cm] in St st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Neckwarmer extremely stretchy and is worn doubled around the neck

NECKWARMER
Cast on 24 sts.
Knit in Stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) until piece
measures 24 inches.
Bind off, leaving an 8-inch tail.
FINISHING
Sew ends of band together. Weave in ends. |

| I started to create this and realized (after about 8" into the project) that it would be curling inward on both sides. I ended up ripping the whole thing out and saving my yarn for another project. If I were to make a neck warmer like this again, I would just do straight garter stitch so that it would not roll up. The pattern was a waste of time.
