Preemie Cap
Lion Brand® Microspun
GAUGE:
24 sts + 28 rnds = 4 inches [10 cm] in St st (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
HAT
Cast on 48 (60, 72, 84) sts. Distribute sts evenly on 4 needles and join for working in the rnd, being careful not to twist. Work in St st until piece measures 4½ (5, 5½, 6) inches [11.5 (12.5, 14, 15) cm] from beginning.
