With crochet hook, attach A at underarm seam and work 1 row single crochet around entire upper opening so work lays flat. Fasten off. HAT With MC and smaller needles, cast on 96 sts. Work 6 rows in k 1, p 1 rib. Change to larger needles and work in Stripe Pattern as follows: 2 rows A; 6 rows MC; 2 rows B, 6 rows MC; 2 rows A; 2 rows MC.
