Mixed-yarn 'Christensen' skinny scarf (brown colorway)
Lion Brand® Homespun® - Lion® Suede - Fancy Fur
GAUGE: 9 sts + 16 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in garter stitch (knit every row).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: A circular needles is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Stitches are worked back and forth in rows.
Editor’s Note: When creating fringe using Homespun please note that because of the texture of the yarn the fringe will fray when cut. If you prefer a non-frayed look you can knot the ends,
knit or
crochet a fringe, or use hairspray or fray check.

| I knitted this whimsical and unique scarf for my teenage daughter last Christmas. Now all her friends want one! Whenever she wears it, people compliment her and want to know where she found it. The pattern is easy even for a beginner and the yarns are interesting and fun to work with. It is a quick project and people love it due to all the different yarns included.
