This scarf combines many yarns for a beautiful and unique texture.
*Crocheters can create a similar scarf by using the yarns we’ve cited, then simply working in the desired crochet stitch.
9 sts = 4 inches in k1, p1 rib with assorted yarns
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
A circular needles is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Stitches are worked back and forth in rows.
Editor’s Note: When creating fringe using Homespun please note that because of the texture of the yarn the fringe will fray when cut. If you prefer a non-frayed look you can knot the ends,
knit or
crochet a fringe, or use hairspray or fray check.
