GAUGE:
18 sts + 26 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) with smaller needles and A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
The amount of yarn used in this project is very small and it is a great project for using up left-over yarn. A single full skein of each yarn will make at least 6 copies of this outfit.

This was actually very helpful, my mom was crocheting clothes for my nieces' barbies and wanted me to knit something for their barbies as well, and this is simple enough to make three of them in less than two months!
