GAUGE: 16 stitches = 4 inches [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

MINI-BAG FRONT
With A, cast on 10 stitches. Work in Stockinette stitch until piece measures 1˝ inches [4 cm] from beginning. Change to B and work 4 rows in Reverse Stockinette stitch (purl on right side, knit on wrong side). Change to A and work in Stockinette stitch for 1˝ inches [4 cm]. Change to B and work 4 rows in Reverse Stockinette stitch. Change to A and work in Stockinette stitch for 2˝ inches [6.5 cm]. Bind off. BACK Work as for Front until bind off. Bind off all but last 4 stitches. Work these 4 stitches (for Strap) in Stockinette stitch to make cord 5 ˝ inches [14 cm] long. Bind off.FINISHING Sew bottom and side seams. Sew snap onto Case and Strap. Weave in ends.
