Beginner's Hat and Scarf

Lion Brand® Jiffy® Thick & Quick®

GAUGE:

8 sts + 13 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in Hat pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Beginner's Hat and Scarf Reviewed by Julie Pardoe on 2009-11-01 *****
This is was my first knitting project. It was so easy and fun!!!! The scarf has such a cute squares pattern it looks more complicated than it is once finished. This was definitely a perfect first project!
