GAUGE:

12 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row) using Size 11 needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Windowpane Throw Reviewed by katy holman on 2012-04-16 ****
VERY PRETTY TO MAKE. I USED LION BRAND JIFFY YARN IN GOLD AND ELPASO, I ALSO ADDED A THIRD COLOR IN WINE. I ALSO ADDED TWO MORE STRIPS ON THE END IN THE WINE COLOR AND IT LOOKS GREAT NEXT TO THE GOLD. GREAT PROJECT!!!!!!
