Child's Striped Yoke Pullover

Lion Brand® Homespun®

GAUGE:

12 sts + 16 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) over St st (k on RS, p on WS).

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Have to knit the torso longer Reviewed by Erin Hull on 2011-05-03 ***
I knit this for my son. I took all his measurements and decided on a size. After I was all done, it was WAY too short after I pieced it together and the sleeves were way long. And I HATED working w/ the homespun yarn. It's a pain to knit with and in my opinion, not very masculine. The sheen makes it a touch on the girly side. It is beautiful when knit up (say in a shawl), but a pain to work with.
