Tassel Fun Decorated Cap
Lion Brand® Homespun® - Incredible®
GAUGE: 14 sts + 20 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in St st (k every rnd) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

The reviewer who says its not easy is wrong. Maybe she just wasn't ready. Everyone learns differently. I've met new knitters who have made socks and I've knit for many years and NEVER made socks. I want to relax when I knit. Not stress. Advice - try to move up in your skill set. But never knit or do any HOBBY that's out of your comfortable skill set. So, read through a pattern and check your comfort level before buying yarn and starting a project. If you bought the yarn first... Save it. Later you can come back here and find a use for it. I have a knitting group and I tell many of my new knitters to not try bouclé type yarn for a while. Homespun is probably the most common bouclé yarn in the USA thanks to Lion Brand and the wide array of colors they offer. I'd say the yarn isn't easy. It's not the pattern. Try a garter stitch scarf in HomeSpun first or save it for a few years.
