GAUGE:

10 sts + 12 rows = 4 inches [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

Stripe Pattern 14 rows A, 14 rows B, 14 rows C. Pattern stitch K 4, P 4 Ribbing (multiple of 8 sts) Row 1 *K 4, p 4; repeat from *. Repeat Row 1 for K 4, P 4 Ribbing.

NOTES:

Leg Warmers are worked with 3 strands of Fun Fur held together throughout.

LEG WARMERS
With 3 strands of A held together, cast on 32 sts. Work in K 4, P 4 Ribbing for 2 rows.

Dec Row K2tog, work in pattern to last 2 sts, p2tog.
Maintaining rib pattern and stripe pattern, repeat these 3 rows 6 more times – 18 sts. Work even for 13 rows.

Inc Row P 1, yo, work to last st, yo, k 1.
Maintaining rib pattern, work even for 2 rows. Repeat Inc Row – 22 sts. Work 4 rows even. Bind off.

Finishing
Sew back seam. Weave in ends.
