GAUGE: 22 stitches + 28 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Reverse Stockinette Stitch (purl on right side, knit on wrong side).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

TRIM Collar
Cast on 17 stitches. Work even in Reverse Stockinette Stitch until piece measures same length as jacket collar. Bind off. Cuffs
Cast on 12 stitches. Work even in Reverse Stockinette Stitch until piece measures same length as jacket cuffs, keeping button and buttonhole uncovered. Bind off.FINISHING
Pin collar and cuffs to jacket. Using sewing needle and thread, sew collar and cuffs along all 4 edges.
