Easy Garter Stitch Scarf

Lion Brand^® Fun Fur

GAUGE:

12 sts = 4 inches [10 cm] in Garter st (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Scarf is worked with 2 strands of Fun Fur held together throughout. Change color at the beginning of a right side row.

SCARF
With 2 strands of A held tog, cast on 15 sts. Work in Garter st until piece measures 6" [15 cm], ending with a WS row. Change to 2 strands of B held tog and work in Garter st until piece measures 12" [30.5 cm], ending with a WS row. Change to 2 strands of C held tog and work in Garter st until piece measures 18" [45.5 cm], ending with a WS row. Continue in stripe sequence as established until piece measures 60" [152.5 cm]. Bind off.
