Note If cuffs are to be sewn onto a garment, omit Microspun inner cuff.

 

Easy Accessories: Cuffs

Lion Brand® Fun Fur®

GAUGE:

13 sts + 26 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row) with Fun Fur on larger needles BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

CUFFS

With larger needles and Fun Fur, cast on 14 sts.

Row 1 Slip 1, k across.

Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 12 inches.

Bind off all sts.

With smaller needles and Microspun, pick up 32 sts across one long edge.

Work K1, P1, Rib for 2 inches.

Bind off all sts in rib.

Sew side seam to form a tube.

Make second cuff to match.

Made this for myself first. It was so easy and looks so cute. Then I adjusted the pattern for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. 12 stitches for collar and 7 for cuffs. Photos attached. I added "bling" with rhinestones front and back. Love it!!!
