GAUGE: 8 stitches = 5½ inches [14 cm] in pattern.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Drop Stitch Scarf Reviewed by Kate Zimmerman on 2009-12-20 |

| This was a fun and easy scarf, something a little different for someone with basic knitting skills. I made it a long time ago in Fettucine Prairie color and it's my favorite "shortie" scarf. I'm going to make it with other yarns now that I found the pattern again!
