PURSE FRONT
With A, cast on 40 stitches.
Rows 1-6 Knit.
Row 6 Thread the waste yarn into the large-eyed blunt needle and run it along the needle that is currently holding the stitches. As you knit the next row, the yarn will transfer onto your working needle down the center of the row of stitches. This is the marker that you will use later in the construction to make it easy to pick up the stitches from this row.
Rows 7-8, Knit
Rows 8-24 Change to B, knit
Rows 25-32 Change to A, knit. Bind off all stitches. Cut end, leaving a tail of about 8 inches (this will be used to sew the edges of the purse together) BACK
Return to row 6 (the row with the waste yarn running through it). Using the yarn as a marker, pick up the stitches. After they are on your needle, pull the waste yarn out.
Rows 1-2 With A, knit.
Rows 3-18 Change to B, Knit
Rows 19-26 Change to A, knit. Bind off all stitches. Cut end, leaving a tail of about 8 inches (this will be used to sew the edges of the purse together)  FINISHING
Cut the Velcro in half, lengthwise, so that it is¼ inch [.6 cm] wide. Position one half on the inside top edge of one side and stitch in place using the sewing needle and thread..
Place the other half of the Velcro on the other side and stitch that in place. Thread the tail of the Glitterspun yarn into the large-eyed blunt needle and sew each side of the purse shut. If you are planning on carrying liquid make-up, a snack-size Zip-lock style sandwich bag will exactly fit inside and provides extra waterproofing!!
