Patriotic Pocket Wrap
Lion Brand® Chunky USA
GAUGE: 12 sts + 20 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

WRAP
With A, cast on 54 stitches. Work in garter stitch until piece measures 12 inches from beginning, end after a WS row. Change to B and continue in garter stitch in following stripe sequence: (12 rows B; 12 rows C) 10 times; then 12 rows B. Continue in A only for 12 inches more. Fasten off.POCKET
With A, cast on 30. Work even in garter stitch until piece measures 7 inches from beginning. Fasten off. FINISHING
Center pocket 2 inches up from the bottom edge. Sew in place.

Love this. Not a pocket person, so I left them off. Will wear this, this summer. I used an arylic yarn for all three colors.
I think the trick is to find the correct blue color.
