GAUGE:
19 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in pattern BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. I made two versions of this hat. The first one I made like the pattern, and oh boy is it cute. The second one I made, I modified the pattern a bit. I just wanted the ribbing, so I did a regular k1b instead of what the pattern called for and boy, it was just as cute as the first.
Very, very easy. Only took me a few days to make. Also easy to change the sizing too. I used sz 4 needles and it worked well for a smaller hat (still used the baby soft yarn).
