Child's Zip Jacket

Lion Brand® Lion® Bouclé - Fun Fetti

GAUGE:

13 sts + 16 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Reverse St st (p on RS, k on WS) with B on larger needles.

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Child's Zip Jacket Reviewed by Cyd Baron on 2008-12-06 ***
I am currently making this jacket and it is coming out great but I am very confused. The picture definitely shows that the sleeves are worked in the same rip as the bottom ribbing on the front an back. However, the instructions indicate to change to reverse stockinette after 4" (for size 8-10). I am currently trying to decide what to do about this, since ribbing will not be the same width as reverse stockinette.
