ASSEMBLY: Strips (make 1 of each for scarf; 2 of each for shawl): Sc tog 10 squares end to end to make a long, narrow strip in foll order: Strip 1: 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2. Strip 2: 2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1. Place 2 strips next to each other to form scarf 10 squares long and 2 squares wide. Rep for shawl to have 10 squares long, 4 squares wide, alternating placement of strips. Sc or sew tog as desired. I am so proud of the scarf I made from this pattern. It was very rewarding and fun to see all the squares shaping up and the finished product looks beautiful. I love wearing it.
