Super Plush Pet Afghan
Lion Brand® Velvetspun
GAUGE: 4.5 sc + 5.25 rows = 4 inches (10 cm BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: When joining a new color, cut old color leaving a tail, tie the new yarn very tightly to tail of old color, and sc over the yarn ends. The ends left out will shed all their plush fibers, ending up as threads. When they reach this state, clip them and the shedding will be over.

| We rescue Jack Russell's and I wanted to be able to make something to send with each of them when they are adopted. So, I learned to crochet and this was my first project. I substituted the Jiffy yarn so that it would be machine washable and dryable. I also made it a little bigger than the pattern indicated. This was such an easy and quick project and the end result is precious.
