GAUGE: Flower = 3 inches [7.5 cm] across BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

this is a great stash buster and the flowers can decorate everything. use on tie backs, cushions and even hat's and scarfs a great way to colour co-ordinate a new baby blanket to boy or girl.
i made 10 in an hour using up those little left over pieces from a full ball and sewed them onto a knitted throw for an instant summer seat for the garden. great for turning plain knitts into super gifts.
