GAUGE:

5 sc and 5 sc rows = 3 inches. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Crochet Child's Bathrobe Reviewed by emma treloar on 2009-09-21 ****
As other Poster Said, the Robe is Way too short even when the Guage is Correct, mine is Like a Cardigan, So will need to Add More Rows to Bottom aswell. i plan on making a second one in a Different Yarn (i am using Doubled up Fun fur for this One) and will see if the pattern is the same again. Nice pattern though.
