GAUGE: 1.2 dc = 1 inches on size Q hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

THROW: Ch 48. Row 1: : Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 46 dc. Ch 3, turn. Row 2: : Dc in each dc across -- 46 dc. Ch 3, turn. Rep Row 2 until throw meas 49" from beg. Fasten off.
Border: : Work 3 rnds sc around entire throw working 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off.
