GAUGE: Gauge is not significant to this project.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Lightning fast and super cute! It took me less than an hour to make. I made it in sport weight yarn on a G-6 hook. I also made it about 4 inches shorter than my head measurement, then did a ch13, 12sc in each in the middle of each end for a tie, because my hair is too short so it would stick out if the headband was full width all the way around. Nice and stretchy, PERFECT! I will be making dozens more.
