GAUGE:
Guage is not important to this project BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNOWMAN
1.
Wrap yarn 80 times around a 7" length of cardboard.
2.
Lace a 6" piece of yarn under all the yarn wrapped on the cardboard and tie tightly at both ends.
3.
Carefully slide yarn off cardboard.
4.
Tie one 6" piece of yarn around all the yarn to make the head and another to make the waist.
5.
Glue on decorations.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNOW ANGEL
1. BODY:
Wrap yarn 50 times around a 7" length of cardboard.
2.
Lace a 6" piece of yarn under all the yarn wrapped on the cardboard and tie tightly at one end. Cut bottom strands of yarn.
3. ARMS:
Wrap yarn 30 times around a 7" length of cardboard. Carefully remove the cardboard. Tie a 6" piece of yarn in the middle, and 2 more ½" from each end, forming the hands.
4.
Slide the arms and wings through the middle of the strands of the upper body and glue
5.
Tie hands together.
*Caution: Small objects may present a choking hazard to young children.

These are wonderful! Even better in person, picture doesn't do them justice. I also used silver and liked it just as well as the gold.
