Halloween Pompom Ghosts
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® - Lion® Suede
GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
|
GHOSTS
-
Wrap yarn 40 times around the cardboard in
the 7 inch direction
- Lace a 6 inch [approximately 15 cm.] piece of yarn under all
the yarn wrapped on the cardboard and tie tightly.
Note: If you are going to hang your ghost (as we did
from a decorated chandelier), you can use one end of a long
piece of craft ribbon to tie off at this step instead.
- Cut yarn at bottom of cardboard.
- Tie a piece of craft ribbon around all the yarn to make the
head. Trim to achieve the look that you want.
- Glue on eyes
Optional: If you wish to hang your ghost from
something (we hung ours from a chandelier that had been decorated
with autumn leaves), either use a long piece of ribbon to tie off
the pom-pom in step 2 or pass a ribbon through yarn on the top of
the head and tie it off inconspicuously. Then, tie the other
end of the ribbon to whatever you want to hang the ghost on.
Note: If the attachment will show, tying it in a bow can add
a nice decorative touch! |
