GAUGE:

13 sc = 4 inches (10 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

Cluster st (Yo hook, pick up loop in same st, yo hook and pull through 2 loops) 3 times, yo hook and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

NOTES:

Scarf is worked along long edge beg from center. Do not end off each color but carry them loosely along side until needed later on. To change colors: Always end off last loops of last st with next color.
