GAUGE: 10 hdc = 4" [10 cm]; 5 rows = 3" [7.5 cm] in hdc with 2 strands of A held tog.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: |
hdc2tog (hdc dec) Yo, insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Yo, insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yo, draw through all loops on hook.

| Bag Reviewed by Jenni on 2008-01-30 |

| I get lots of compliments on this bag. The pattern was pretty straight-forward, however, I had some problems getting used to working with the suede yarn. I made my bag with black sides instead of the pink shown, so I needed one extra ball of the black yarn.
