Dish Cloth
Lion Brand® Lion® Cotton
GAUGE: 20 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: FPdc Yo, insert hook from front to back then to front, going around the dc post, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Skip st behind the FPdc. BPdc Yo, insert hook from back to front then to back, going around the dc post, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Skip st in front of the BPdc.

| This is a terrific washcloth and will indeed last for years. It always gives me a little smile to pull that one out from all the others. So, this makes a good gift and also can be knit up in fun colors. It's the pattern I go back and look for often.
