Backpack
Lion Brand® Jiffy®
GAUGE: 12 sts + 15 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in sc. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I thought the assembly was tricky at first to figure out which way the backpack went, but it took about 5 minutes of thinking to get the assembly right. The weaving instructions were clear and the pattern was very very easy. However, the strap is too stretchy as a chain stitch and should be more like a cord described in the newest backpack pattern.
