GAUGE:

16 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) on size G-6 (4 mm) hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

BLANKET
With MC, ch 113.

Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 112 sc.
Row 2 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across. Fasten off MC.
Row 3 Attach A, ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.
Row 4 Ch 1, turn. Sc tbl (through back loop) in each sc across. Fasten off A.
Row 5 Attach MC, ch 1, turn. Sc tbl in each sc across.
Row 6 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across. Fasten off MC.
Row 7 Attach B, ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.
Row 8 Ch 1, turn. Sc tbl of each sc across. Fasten off B.
Row 9 Attach MC, ch 1, turn. Sc tbl in each sc across.
Row 10 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across. Fasten off MC.

BORDER

Rnd 1 With MC, work 1 rnd sc around entire Blanket working 3 sc in each corner, end slip st in first sc. Ch 1, turn. With MC work 3 more rnds sc, then rep color and stitch sequence of Rows 3-14, always working 3 sc in each corner.
