GAUGE: Each pat rep = 6½". BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Crayon Ripple Throw / Blanket Reviewed by Grace A. Hunter on 2011-02-18 |

| I'm a beginning crocheter and was excited about learning the ripple. Am finishing up my afghan now and love how it's turning out. My word of caution: make sure you count your stiches, especially when you do the last hill. When I first started the project, I accidentally increased and the afghan was getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I had to take it out and start all over. Once you get the first two rows down, it's clear sailing. Can't wait to do another.
