GAUGE:

4 V-sts + 5 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in V-st pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

'Little Victory' Blanket Reviewed by Rachelle Jung on 2009-04-17 *****
I loved making this pattern! The friend I made it for was very pleased with it. She said the pattern was dense enough to keep the baby warm but it wasn't too thick. It was easy, fun and quick to make. I'm starting another one for a friend of my mom's. I'd recommend this pattern to anyone. Happy crocheting!
