Crochet Waterfall Throw
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE:
6 sts = 5 inches, using two strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Entire throw is worked with two strands of yarn held together. Throw is worked lengthwise and will measure approx 50" across and be crocheted to 45" length.

I love the look of this and wanted to do the crochet version, but I am having a bit of trouble even seeing the back loop, because of the double stranding. I may try the knit version or another afghan pattern as I already bought the yarn and it's lovely.
Well, now I got it started and I like the thickness and ridged effect of the stitch. It does not go quickly for me because the large hook is so awkward, but it think I will like the finished result. I may need to buy mroe yarn to get it the right size.
