11 sts + 8 rows = 4” [10 cm] in sc, ch 1 pattern on larger hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. Repeat Row 2 until Cuff measures 7 1/2 (8)" [19 (20.5) cm]. Fasten off.
FINISHING
With right side facing, sew long edge of Cuff to Sleeve end. Fold Shrug in
half lengthwise. Sew Sleeve seams, leaving the center 21 (23)” [53.5 (58.5)
cm] open for body, adjusting to fit so that Shrug sits and fits snugly around
shoulder and back.
Weave in ends.
