GAUGE: 10 dc = 4 inches [10 cm].
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | Bobble 5 dc in same st, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in top of first dc of group, pull dropped loop through st.

| Absolutely love this pattern. Made it the first time a few years for my then boyfriend (now husband!) and it's still his favorite blanket- we keep it on our bed. Made it in shades of blue and tan for him. Then I made it again for my sister in greens and purples. Great, easy pattern, gorgeous, warm results.
